Kansas City Musician
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m an independent Kansas City musician. I’m originally from Nebraska. The first band I ever played in was ”The Young Czechs” polka band. It was a lot of fun, but didn’t attract a lot of girls.
I studied music at the University Of Nebraska At Omaha, then spent several years performing with the U.S. Army Band, before moving to Kansas City.
I perform a mix of lots of popular cover tunes, along with my own songs, depending on the venue, and situation.
I tend to write quirky, catchy songs, which I guess reflect my somewhat offbeat sense of humor.
My primary style and genre of music is acoustic rock or folk rock. My influences and inspiration include James Taylor, Jim Croce, Jimmy Buffet, Paul Simon, and other musicians you REALLY LOVE.
“YOU WILL LOVE BRAD ALLEN’S MUSIC. YOU WILL LOVE BRAD ALLEN’S MUSIC.” (Jedi mind trick. Worth a try anyway.)
I recently added a “songs on demand” service. (“I demand that you write a song for me this instant!“) I write theme songs, as well as music for film and T.V., music for podcasts, YouTube videos, and video games. Contact me for more information.
Review of Dog Island Florida: “Lyrically soothing. Waves of turquoise… I was lost in the lyrics on this one. It made me think of better times and wish I was 15 and back in Key Largo. Its’ lyrics and tranquil tone quickly drew me in. I really like the song.”
“Thank you very much for performing with us on Friday night. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed your music!” Mark Holmes, Coffee Break, Kansas City, MO
